Poza de Barro: (Mud thermal Pool): Delightful natural thermal mud pool that has curative properties. It's located northeast from Mancora. There are four ways to get there: Moto taxi (30 min), horse (2 hrs), bike (1 hr) or walking (4 hrs).

Los Pilares: Located west from the natural thermal pool, one and a half hour walk from Fernandez little village (“Caserio Fernandez”), this marvelous place has no popularity. Here, a river affluent, which finally disembogues at Mancora, relaxes and the rocks forms three beautiful refreshing water pools, which have little cascades between them. The place, surrounded by enormous rocks and birds, is great for spending one or two days camping.

Los Organos: A beautiful beach located 14 km south from Mancora. It has an impressive tourist dike, inexpensive restaurants and beer saloons. Punta Veleros is the most visited beach by tourists. At some seasons, boarders can enjoy of three different points for surfing.

Manglares de Puerto Pizarro, Tumbes: Puerto Pizarro is located just 120 km north from Mancora. This village is famous for the extraction of the exquisite Conchas Negras (black shells). Here, the ocean and the waters of Tumbes' river converge, making a mix of salt and sweet water. This condition is special for the Manglares to grow. In their roots grow the Conchas Negras. You can make interesting boat trips from here to Isla del Amor (love island) and Isla de los Pajaros (birds island).

Catacaos: Very close to Piura, 180 km south from Mancora, you can find the picturesque village of Catacaos, where you will see lot of little handicraft shops. Catacaos is known as the capital of the Peruvian North craft.
